The journey of Destiny Embassy began with the life of Apostle Charles Okho-Atta Appiah, a man shaped by faith, sacrifice, and divine encounters. Raised under the care of Prophetess Miraba Theresa Coffie, a devoted servant of God, he was taught from childhood to live a life of prayer and devotion to the Word.
At just 17 years old, his life changed forever when he received a powerful heavenly vision , one that revealed God’s calling upon his life to reach nations and bring salvation and joy to the earth. From that moment, he was drawn into deep spiritual encounters, hearing God’s voice and being prepared through seasons of prayer, fasting, and divine instruction.
In 2003, he stepped into his calling, ministering to students and sparking a revival at Odorgonno Secondary School. What began with just one person grew into a vibrant youth movement, impacting lives through evangelism, healing, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Through years of challenges, relocations, and testing moments, the ministry stood firm. In 2017, by divine direction, the ministry was renamed Destiny Embassy a reflection of its global mandate. Despite losing members and lacking a permanent place of worship, the vision never died.
Finally, in December 2019, by the grace of God, Destiny Embassy entered its promised land a symbol of perseverance, faith, and fulfillment of God’s promise.
Today, Destiny Embassy stands as a testimony that when God calls, He sustains, establishes, and brings every word to pass.
“To raise a generation of empowered believers who walk in their divine destiny, demonstrate the power of God, and impact nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
“To preach the Word of God with power and clarity, raise disciples through prayer and the Word, demonstrate the ministry of the Holy Spirit through signs and wonders, and equip believers to fulfill their God-given purpose in every sphere of life.”
